Coaches and participants follow the Jr NBA curriculum
Participants receive Jr NBA reversible jersey, basketball, drawstring bag and poster
Program is a one-hour session on Saturdays, location TBA
Girls and boys are in separate sessions
Focus on skill development, no league games, no league

Sessions are 1h15min per week for U9:
- Jr NBA Skills session, 45min
- 3on3, eventually 4on4, 30min
Girls and boys are in separate sessions
Focus on skill development, no league games

Participants receive one reversible jersey
One practice per week
Boys will practice Monday or Thursday night (tentative, pending on gym availability)
Girls will practice Tuesday or Wednesday night (tentative, pending on gym availability)
One league game per week on Saturday
Games are played 4 on 4 full court on an 8.5 foot net

Moncton Basketball Association will run player evaluation session(s) to help create balanced teams within each division.
Dates for Evaluation are still to be determined

Moncton Basketball Association will run a provincial program for U11, U13 and U14 age groups. Depending on registration numbers, it is possible we will also have a U12 Team.
To tryout for a provincial team you must:
- Be registered with the Moncton Hawks
- Register and pay $25 for the provincial team tryouts (register for tryout here)
Tryouts will take place in September. Dates will be communicated to all who are registered with MBA.
Provincial program teams will train 3x per week.
There is an additional Provincial Fee of $195, payable once teams are selected. This includes MBA player hoodie, admin fee, provincial tournament registration, uniforms and NCPP trained coaches. Tournament, travel, and officials will be an additional fee for each team.

Players are asked to attend all tryouts.
