Our programs and events rely on dedicated coaches and volunteers who help create positive experiences for our athletes. No matter your level of experience, there may be a place for you at MBA.
MBA offers a variety of coaching opportunities throughout the year, including recreational and provincial programs across all divisions.
Whether you’re an experienced coach or have never coached before, we welcome you to get involved. Our Technical Director works closely with our coaches to provide support, guidance and resources to help you feel confident on the court and continue developing your coaching skills.
You don’t need to have years of coaching experience to make a difference. If you have a passion for basketball, enjoy working with athletes and want to help players develop, we’d love to have you join our coaching community.

Please note: Coaches interested in coaching an MBA Provincial Team should complete the Provincial Team Coaching Application in the section below.
MBA is currently accepting applications from coaches interested in coaching our Provincial Teams for the 2026/2027 Fall/Winter season.
Provincial coaching is a great opportunity to work with athletes who are looking to develop their skills, compete at a higher level and represent MBA.
Applications must be submitted by August 28, 2026.
Following the application deadline, MBA will review all interested applicants and confirm provincial team coaches for the 2026/2027 Fall/Winter season.
We encourage both returning and new coaches to apply. Whether you have previous provincial coaching experience or are looking to take on this opportunity for the first time, we’d love to hear from you.
